How to Change Processor's Name

If you want to change processor's name of your computer, you should read this article.
With this trick, you can change the name of your processor with the name you like.

Change processor's name

Step 1. Click on Start > Run.

Step 2. Type "regedit" in the run box.

Step 3. Navigate to 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/HARDWARE/DESCRIPTION/System/CentralProcessor/0. A list of options will appear on the right hand side.


Step 4. In the work area, double click on ProcessorNameString, and change its value according to your choice.

Step 5. Click ok.

Right click on My computer icon and select properties, you will see the name of processor has changed.
