Watch ASCII Star Wars in Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8



This is very interesting trick to see star wars movie in the command prompt or cmd. 
To watch this movie you do not need a media player. This movie runs on command prompt or cmd. I am going to tell you about the trick, using this trick you can watch star wars on the command prompt or cmd.

To watch this movie on windows XP, Mac OS X and Linux

Step 1. Go to Start > Run. (only windows users)

Step 2. Now type "telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl" and press enter

telnet(space)towel.blinkenlights.nl


For Mac OS X and Linux 

Users of Mac OS X and Linux can directly use this code in the terminal window.


For Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Vista

In the latest versions of windows telnet is turn off by default. So, in order to watch star wars, first you must enable telnet by going Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows Feature On or Off and tick both the telnet check boxes. 




After doing this, follow the below steps.



Step 1. Go to Start, search in Windows Vista and Windows 7. On Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 open the main start page.

Step 2. Type telnet and press enter.

Step 3. In the following command prompt window, type "o" and press enter.

You can turn off telnet, if you do not need telnet anymore.
